This is the kind of mentality you want to avoid creating. Changes need to be gradual, and they need to go in line with whatever the core value your brand is associated with. Do your research before making any kind of change.

What is it about your company people already like? These are the things you want to make sure to either leave intact or as close to the original as possible. The areas where you’re lagging behind the competition are the ones your focus should be on, and you can only know what areas those are if you’ve done the proper research.

But let’s say you have figured out the kinds of changes you need and the time has come to start implementing them.

If done right, altering your brand name can keep those who already loved you and bring in others at the same time.
